A few pictures

There has really been nothing big and exciting around the Fischer house. Just a lot of snow and a lot of sick people, so you haven't missed much. Sickness or not, I keep the camera going, so here are a few pictures of my awesome crew!
Look at all those beautiful children!
Timmy and his blanket... don't touch it or he will scream at you!
His eyes are so sensitive in the sun!
Snow day!
Showing off her new skill!
Baby girl is getting so big! She has gained over 2 lbs since coming home 3 months ago! She is standing all the time and wants to walk really bad!

Emma was so proud, she can climb on the train table like Timmy!

We had a great Christmas

We had a great Christmas, but I am not sad to see this season pass! I love the new year, because that means spring is right around the corner. I do not like cold weather (or snow- yuck!) so I am never sad to see December slip away.

The older boys loved Christmas. They talked about it for months, and got most of what they wanted. (It wasn't much, we don't go overboard around here!) The babies had no clue. Just another day with a lot more paper. We went to church on Christmas Eve and then out to eat with my parents and brother. Christmas morning was at home and that afternoon we headed to my parent's house. The day after Christmas is spent in Northern KY with the Fischer family, so we had a busy few days!

The older boys got some knight armor, light sabers and a DS for each of them. They are in heaven. I have to limit time on the DS because they are going to be cross eyed from staring at it so long! The little ones didn't get much, but they could care less. Timmy did get a race track from my parents and he has enjoyed that quite a bit.

Tomorrow morning life will change as we know it. I am back to work, kids are back to school and Emma starts the babysitter for the first time. She is going to have a rough few days. I am hoping for no snow days so that she will get used to this routine FAST. She will be fine once she figures out mommy is coming back.

Now that it is January, we have spring baseball to look forward to. Matthew misses the cut-off by 5 weeks, so we have asked for permission to let him play anyways. We told them he wasn't your typical 3, almost 4 year old. He is probably bigger than most of the 4 year olds that play. We refuse to do YMCA sports again, so it is little league or bust. We will see what they say. In addition to baseball, my kids WILL learn how to swim before the pool opens- so swim lessons are on my radar.

Here are a few pictures.

Painting

I bought the boys wooden christmas trees and snowmen. They love to paint, so this was a fun craft for them to do since we have been stuck inside all week! The babies were locked in baby jail when we did it, ha ha.

He has the goofiest smile at times!
Very serious about his painting

Definitely not allowed near the paint! Look how nicely Emma can stand now- she is getting stronger everyday! She really WANTS to walk, but her ankles are so weak it is going to be awhile. She starts physical therapy in a few weeks and I am hoping that will be the extra boost she needs. She will actually get on her knees (butt off the ground) and try to walk like that. She sees everyone else walk around and she wants to do it, too!

Cuteness

We had a spur of the moment photo shoot the other day. Anyone that has been to my house knows that I have my naked baby bums displayed proudly in my bathroom. I normally do these pics at 6 months- by this time, my boys were nice and plump (20-25 lb range!) and they always made the cutest pictures! Well, Emma didn't join the family until she was 15 months old. Good thing she is a tiny tot. She is actually smaller than ALL my boys were at 6 months old- so yes, I did the naked baby shot! I tried really hard to make it look "not creepy." I mean, she is a little old for this! But, she can't walk yet and she is so little- so I think it turned out just fine. After those pictures, I decided to put her in a tutu and get a few shots- oh my, her cuteness is overwhelming!!!!

Here it is, the picture that will join my boys in the bathroom.

Another Christmas at the Fischer house!

The tree is up but it is lacking one thing- ornaments on the bottom half! I guess that is life when you have 2 babies! The big boys loved decorating it. Unfortunately, the babies missed out. We did it when they were napping to avoid as much chaos as possible. It is now 4 days until Christmas and I have yet to get a picture of the little ones hanging their ornaments (I do that picture every year!) But- it will get done. It might be Christmas morning, but it will get done! I can't believe that next week the tree will be coming DOWN. Time is really flying by these days!
The kids thought this was so cool. They ate popcorn and watched a movie under the "home made" tent! We threw a sheet over the dining room table and boy oh boy, you should have seen how excited those kiddos were! When Andrew got in he said "Matthew lets hug because this is so much fun!" They actually slept under there 2 nights in a row- that's right, I am the coolest mom ever!
The outside view

This doesn't even begin to capture what these kids do to our basement- it is destroyed daily! And note- Timmy is on the train table. He climbs on EVERYTHING. Yes, we have entered that stage of toddler-hood!
This picture cracks me up. You have to blow it up to get the full enjoyment out of it- Emma has the naughtiest grin on her face, as if she was responsible for this disaster!

This little guy has me wrapped around his finger. Everything he does is SO.DARN.CUTE. Don't get me wrong- he is pure trouble. I mean, just look at that face! I am trying to enjoy every minute because there will be no more babies in the Fischer house. The way he thinks everything is a phone and puts it to his ear- the way he sits and focuses on a book- oh my, I could video tape him all day he is just so cute.

Emma with the big brothers

By the tree- I think her bow makes her look like a Christmas present!
4 little monkeys jumping on the bed!
Yes, we have double trouble in this house!
