This is from a group of people that just got back from China. They were serving at the Shepherd's Field Children's Village where our little Emma is living. Everyone that goes there seems to be forever changed.... I can't even imagine what it will be like to experience it myself!

Park with the Fischers
I have been neglecting my blog lately! I have been so busy with school and the kids that I have forgotten all about it. Work is going really well. I have a pretty good class, I am just trying to adjust to third grade... my, oh my.... they are still babies! There is such a difference between 3rd and 4th grade and I keep telling myself that after Christmas they will be where I want them to be. We are finally on a routine around here. Rick and I get up before the kids and get ourselves ready. One of us makes lunches and breakfast and the other one gets the kids up and dressed. Surprisingly, things are nice and calm in the morning and everyone is out the door at 6:50. The only trouble we have is when Matthew decides to throw a fit and that is becoming a weekly occurrence. The poor thing is having a horrible time sleeping. He wakes up screaming at night (night terrors?) and is just a pill in the morning. He WILL NOT sleep in his own bed, so he has been with us every night. I asked him what he is going to do when I am in China and he said that Mamaw or Grandma can sleep in his bed and that he can still sleep in my bed. I am hoping to break this habit SOON but I don't know how to do it! School is better for Matthew. He likes it and has adjusted to his long days. That is a relief. Timothy loves going to his babysitter and Andrew still loves school, so we are all happy- yippee!
We are closer than ever to Emma Grace. I am hoping to hear about travel approval in the next week. We are hoping and praying. I know there is a group of 5 families leaving on October 6 and I am thinking that if we get TA next week, we could join that group. I have plenty of days to cover my maternity leave, thanks to the gracious teachers that donated tons of sick days for me!!!!! I am so anxious to get her and get home and get everyone on a schedule. This waiting and not knowing is driving me a little looney!
Here are some recent pictures of the family.
Here is the most recent picture of Emma Grace. A team just got back from a mission trip there and I was so excited to see 4 pictures of my girl in there photo album on facebook. I love seeing updated pictures and knowing that there are so many people there to love on the kids.
Timothy is all smiles these days. He is such a pleasant, easy going baby. Let's hope that continues after "big" sister comes home!
The still love playing in the sandbox!
There really isn't much to say about this..... I promise he didn't get hurt!
Rick has taken up a new hobby.... house jumping
Timothy is always trying to get out of baby jail. Not gonna happen, he goes straight for everything he isn't allowed to have (like the dog bowls)
My big boy!
