Cute Boys!!!

Jake comes over to play sometimes-- they are all great friends! These boys play hard! Sometimes it sounds like the house is going to cave in when they get to chasing each other around the room :) I love it though-- kids should be active and fun at this age! I just think it is funny how they all look so innocent in this picture!!!!
My adorable boys....
Matthew likes to do his best smile for pictures. It cracks me up!!!!

Getting Ready for Halloween!!!

We tried on some Halloween costumes today. Matthew makes a cute pirate, but the outfit is a little small. He also makes a cute dragon, but the part on his head drives him nuts. Anyways, whatever he is, he sure will be cute! Andrew wants to be a train again (imagine that!) But of course he can't be Thomas again. He said, "Mom, I already be Thomas" So, if you know Andrew, you will know what he wants to be. The green train, because Andrew "loves green." Even though Percy, the green train is $30 on ebay and James, the red train is only $10, we cannot convince him to change his mind! Oh, well, I have a feeling these train costumes will get plenty of wear over the next few years, especially if another boy is in our future! How can you say no to a kid that says, "I want be green choo-choo because I just love green!"

Power again!

Well, after 5 days we finally got our power back! We lost it Sunday around 1:00 in the afternoon and we got it back today, Friday around 10:00 am. What a yucky week! No schools, so no work.... and entertaining kids without power. No fun! Andrew could not understand why the TV would not work and why he could not watch Dora! So, we are thankful that everything will get back to normal now and thankful to have food in the fridge again!!!! Here are a few random pictures from the last few weeks.
Here I am doing dishes by candlelight-- how fun!

Even though there was a wind storm, that didn't stop us from playing outside. Here are the boys outside enjoying the windy day!
The boys with their daddy. How come I can never get a picture like this with the boys? I tell ya, moms always get left out of the pictures!
We spent a lot of time outside with the other kids. This was the best picture I could get of the boys with their best buddies.
This is what it is normally like trying to get a picture of them!

So, Matthew has always been wild, but this week he has been a freakin' hoot!!! He is climbing on everything, getting into everything, trying to jump off the couch..... you name it, he is doing it. Since we did not have power, we had to spend a few mornings at my parent's house. While I was down doing laundry, Matthew climbed up on the kitchen table to get a bag of cheetos. He dumped them on the floor, and when I came upstairs he was sitting on the floor eating them. At our house, there is no more locking him in baby gates. I am so happy that we invested in $50 gates only to have my one year old bust out of them. He used to stand there and cry to get out, but he doesn't do that anymore, he just comes and goes as he pleases!!!! I got it on tape of him busting out-- sometimes it only takes a few jumps, other times, he jumps up and down for quite awhile until they pop open. I laugh every time he does it!!!!! When Andrew goes pee in the potty, Matthew is right behind him trying to pee in the potty too. When Andrew takes his shirt off, Matthew lifts his up because he wants it off. And, twice in one day I caught Matthew mid air trying to jump off the couch!!!! And this one is the best-- this week we went to visit Rick's sister. She has a 2 story deck with a bench around it. While I was checking my email, Matthew wanders outside and Colleen finds him up on the bench and hanging over the deck. Give me a heart attack! Each day brings a new surprise for what Matthew will do. He has definitely kept us laughing and on our toes this week!!!!!

Kentucky State Fair

We went to the fair a few weeks ago and I forgot to put those pictures on here. So, here they are!

You can't go to the State Fair and not have a corn dog-- here is Drew enjoying his corn dog!
Here is Matthew petting the goats

Every year since Andrew was a baby, we have had our picture taken in front of Freddy Farmer. It is going to be our Fischer tradition! Here is our picture from this year! When I was little I thought this guy was SO HUGE....it doesn't look as big as it did back then!

Rick and Matthew with Freddy Farmer

Matthew was cracking up at the chickens. They kept trying to get his hands!

Here are the boys enjoying the goats

Andrew got his driver's license and got to drive around the kid town following the stop lights. He loved it! I have my picture on this exact same thing when I was little. They don't change too many things at the State Fair!

Here he is waiting for the green light with the other kids.
