Our week....

Well, this hasn't been the best week at the Fischer house, but I guess it also isn't the worst it has ever been either! So, Tuesday night, Rick picks Matthew up by his arm and pops his elbow out of socket. We didn't know that at the time, we just had a 2 year old that couldn't quit screaming or shaking and was holding his arm and couldn't move it. After about an hour and no improvement.... Rick had to take him to the hospital. During the exam by the doctor, Matthew was still screaming hysterically, but after he left, Matthew seemed to be OK and was getting back to normal. The doctor came back in and said that during the exam, he noticed his elbow was out and popped it back in, which is why Matthew was so happy a few minutes later. Note to self: don't pick your (fat) kids up by the arm, you will pop something out and the screaming is NOT FUN.

Wednesday afternoon, we go to the doctor for little Timmy. I am still contracting quite a bit and find out that I am dilated 1 cm. The doctor doesn't think I can make it to the 26th (my original scheduled c-section) so I get moved up to the 19th. It is very dangerous and risky to have had 2 prior C-sections and go into labor, you take the chance of rupturing. So, my doctor felt this was safest for me and Timmy. We were so excited he is coming until.....

Thursday afternoon Andrew's school calls me. He has a fever of 101. I pick him up and go straight to the doctor. Yes, we now have the swine flu, just a few days before we have a baby and with a 9 month pregnant woman! Today (Friday) Matthew is starting to show signs of it too, but has not spiked a fever.

So, time will tell what happens between now and Monday. I am on Tamiflu, trying to prevent it from making me sick. Andrew is on it, Matthew will be on it shortly, so we just need to keep Rick healthy. We are hoping and praying we are healthy and my house is clean and disinfected before Timmy comes home next Thursday!
