When you have little kids, camping in the backyard is about as exciting as things get! Rick set up his tent in my parents backyard so all the boys could camp out. Matthew had to go home, he is not quite up to the challenge of sleeping with that many people! The boys had fun helping Rick gather sticks for the fire and making smores on the fire. Andrew liked to put his "fire stick" in the fire and then hold it up and march around saying "I am King of the Smoke." It was pretty funny. Rick, Andrew, Brandon and Evan made it in the tent all night. Well, it started pouring down rain, as well as thunder and lightning at 5:30 in the morning, so Brandon and Evan headed in. But, Andrew braved the weather with his Dad and they had a blast!!!

The fire was a big hit. These boys loved playing in the fire, hope that isn't a bad sign!
